KC Bier Co. Brings Bavarian-Style Biergarten to Lenexa Ahead of World Cup
KC Bier Co. has officially broken ground on a massive new biergarten in Lenexa’s Vista Village, set to open in late spring 2026 just before Kansas City hosts FIFA World Cup matches.
The expansion, more than a decade after the brewery’s Waldo debut, will feature one of the nation’s largest authentic Bavarian-style beer gardens with a Bierhalle, brewery, amphitheater, dog park, kids’ play area, and German-inspired food.
Founder Steve Holle hopes to create a true community gathering space modeled after European beer gardens, while city leaders see the project as part of Lenexa’s push to build people-centered destinations. Serving as the anchor tenant of the long-planned Vista Village development, the biergarten is expected to become both a hometown hub and regional draw.
